Why poodles bite & nip
Puppies explore the world with their mouths — biting and mouthing is completely normal behavior, not aggression. They learn bite inhibition (how hard is too hard) through play with littermates. Once removed from their litter, it's your job to continue this lesson. Adult poodles may nip out of fear, overexcitement, or pain — each needs a different approach.
