A high-quality slicker brush with fine, angled pins is essential for poodle coats. Recommended: Chris Christensen Big G Slicker or equivalent. Use for daily/regular brushing to detangle and fluff the coat. Medium pressure — firm enough to reach the skin but not scratching it.
